| A warm welcome awaites you at Lake View which is situated on a small Lake District family farm in the village of Millbeck. Millbeck is a village of outstanding natural beauty right at the foot of Skiddaw. The quiet village roads and public footpaths are a feature of this unspoilt area.The path to Skiddaw is only 300 yards away. The magnificent views from the lounge and Derwent bedroom of the picturesque Derwent valley and surrounding mountains including several villages nestled below is ideal for anyone wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of a busy town. The town of Keswick being some 2 miles away, is within easy walking distance. There is a guests lounge with tea and coffee tray, television and an open fire for those cooler evenings. Guests accommodation is totally separate from the owners making it private for both. Family garden is also available to take in those breathtaking views. |

| To reach Millbeck by car, leave the M6 at Penrith, junction 40 or head towards this junction from the A66, Scotch Corner. Follow the A66(west) towards Keswick but do not enter Keswick, remain on the A66 until you reach Crosthwaite roundabout . Take the 3rd exit off the roundabout onto the A591, signposted Carlisle. Stay on this road for about 1 1/2 miles, Turn right, signposted Millbeck. Continue on this road until you reach crossroads in the village, turn right then first right to Lake View.
