Partners


It's May, 2002. After seven seasons, "The Sentinel" is drawing to a close. We join the two-hour finale, 'Partners', already in progress:

INTERIOR: Loft

JIM:
I wasn't sure you were coming back.

BLAIR:
(dropping backpack)
I just needed to get a few things straight in my head.

JIM:
Like where you belong?

BLAIR:
Yeah. This is my home. And there's no way I'd ever leave for good. You're stuck with me, man.

JIM:
'Till death do us part,' Chief?
(long look)

BLAIR:
Yeah.
(beat)
And maybe even after.

JIM wraps an arm around BLAIR'S shoulders and they grin at each other.
The SENTINEL THEME comes up over the dialogue:

JIM:
So, what's for dinner?

BLAIR:
I know this great little Mongolian place that just opened on Third...

FADE to TITLE and END CREDITS
