Total solar eclipse June 30, 1992
This was the second eclipse that  Liz and I witnessed from the air, this time from 41,000 feet.
See my story at Totality June 30, 1992. As in  the eclipse of July, 1990, very few people
witnessed the corona of this eclipse because the path was so remote (almost entirely over the ocean).
We had almost 7 minutes of a fabulous totality with plenty of time to sketch and describe the corona.
The long coronal feature pointing towards Venus is very special and unusual (for its length). I have seen
only one other sketch of that streamer (by Osamu Oogoe). That is why it is so special for me.

My sketch of the eclipse of 1992 showing the long streamer at 4 o'clock
