Bewick's Wren

This wren is still numerous in the west, while sad to know that this species in the east of the Mississippi is facing extirpation.  They inhabit in the thickets or wooded areas.  Its calls in a busy signal, the tone is similar to Winter Wren but richer and more musical. The song of Bewick’s Wren is highly variable and sometimes mistaken as Song Sparrow or other birds with trilling songs.
