THE KINGDOM AND THE LORD'S RETURN

The
"Then comes
the end, when He delivers the Kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to
all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign
till He has put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy that
will be destroyed is death. For He has put all things
under His feet. But when He says all things are put under Him, it
is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted.
Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be
subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God
may be all in all." (1 Cor.
15:24-28)
Before the Lord's Return
something is going to happen to this world that we live.
"For then there will be Great Tribulation,
such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor
ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be
saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened." (Mt. 24:21-22)
"Immediately after the Tribulation of those
days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the
stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be
shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then
all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming
on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His
angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect
from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." (Mt. 24:29-31)
"Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him,
and they also who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn
because of Him. Even so, Amen. I am the
Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,' says the Lord, 'who is and who
was and who is to come, the Almighty." (Rev.
1:7-8) "He who testifies to these things says, 'Surely I am
coming quickly.' Amen. Even so, come Lord Jesus! The grace of
our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen." (Rev.
22:20-21)
