Aug. 10,2004: I tried giving her 2 F/T today, but she wasn't interested. Looks like she's on live till I get her settled in better. The neighbors daughter had wanted to see them eat, and she didn't take too kindly to being watched. She just sat there striking at everyone! LOL I just covered her and moved on to Satin, who put on a good show for them! :))).
Aug. 12,2004: Well, I got her some live today. She didn't seem interested in them either. She just climbed up to the top rim of the feed tub and sat there. So, I put her in the paper bag they came in, and then put the pinks in. I heard squeeking in no time then!! :))). So, she ate 2 live pinks today!!!
Aug. 18,2004: I had to put her in the paper bag again to get her to eat. But, once she was in, she took them in no time!! She's still on live and ate 2. I did measurements today of everybody, and decided to do one of her even though it's only a little over a weeek I have her. Well, she's grown a wee bit already! I measured her at 14.1", and weighed her at 16 grams.
Aug. 26,2004: She was blue today and didn't eat. She weighed in at 18 grams this week.
Aug. 31,2004: She shed today. She ripped it in half in her water dish though. So, I won't get to keep her first shed :'(.
Sept. 1,2004: She ate in her paper bag again. I got her a bit bigger pinks this time, and she had no problem with them. Maybe small fuzzies next week? :))) She's back down to 16 grams with being in shed last week.
Sept. 8,2004: I got her 2 live and 2 F/T pinkies today to try to switch her over. Well, it wen better than I thought!!! I had put all 4 in the tub and when I was putting her in with them, she grabbed onto one of the F/T first!!! Well, that was easy! LOL Anway, she cleaned house and finished everything in the feed tub. Yup, that's right, FEED TUB!! She finally ate in the feed tank TOO! She weighed 18 grams this week.
Sept. 15,2004: I got her both F/T and live again, just in case last week was a fluke. Well, she took on live and 2 F/T. So, I guess she's on F/T from now on! :))) She weighed 22 grams.
Oct. 2,2004: She shed this week, didn't even see her turn blue? Anyway, she had her shed EVERYWHERE!! It looks like she started it off on her sunning stone, where she ripped the head section off. Then it seems she moved over to her water dish, to get a little moisture I suppose, and ripped it in half there. Then she moved over to her hide to finish up. So, I got 3 sheds from her this week!! LOL
I decided to try and move her up to fuzzies this week, and she took one F/T. She weighed in at 23 grams.
Oct. 9,2004: The fuzzies they gave me this week were a bit big, but I decided to let her give it a try. Well, I guess she thought they were too big, because she didn't eat. I measured her this week and she's up to 17.2" and weighed in at 24 grams.
Oct. 19,2004: Well, I weighed the fuzzy this time to get an idea what size to give her if she refused again. This one weighed 7 grams and she took it. So, I guess that works for her ; ). She still weighed 24 grams this week too.
Oct. 27,2004: I gave her 2 fuzzies this week, one that weighed 7 grams again, and one that weighed 8. She ate the smaller one in no time, and gave the 8 grams one a try, but got stuck at it's front legs and spit it back out. So, I guess she's on 7 grammers for a little while ; ). She weighed in at 26 grams.
Nov. 2,2004: She ate 2 fuzzies, and weighed in at 30 grams.
Nov. 10,2004: She ate one fuzzy today and weighed in at 33 grams. I measured her at only 17.6".
Nov. 17,2004: She was blue today, so I wasn't sure if she'd eat or not. Well, she took one fuzzy :). She weighs 38 grams now.
Nov. 26,2004: She shed today all in one piece! She also ate one fuzzy and weighed 38 grams.
Dec. 4,2004: She's up to 40 grams, and she ate one fuzzy again.
Dec. 12,2004: She's still only taking one fuzzy a week, but at least she's still eating! She gained a bit of weight this week for only eating one fuzzy last week. She weighed in at 46 grams.
Dec. 18,2004: Still only taking one a week. She weighed 48 grams this week.
Dec. 27,2004: She was blue today, and didn't eat. I didn't weigh her because I've been having problems with my scale.
Dec. 31,2004: Well, she finished the year off good! She had a nice one piece shed today! : )
Jan. 5,2005: She finally took both her fuzzies today!
?????????????Jan.15,2005: She ate 2 large fuzzies this week, and measured in at 22.2". Almost 5" in 2 months! Pretty good growth spurt for only taking one prey item for most of that time!
Jan.24,2005: She ate 2 hoppers and weighed in at 56 grams.
Jan. 30,2005: She ate 2 hoppers again, and weighed in at 66 grams.
Feb. 6,2005: She was blue today and didn't eat.
Feb.11,2005: She had a good one piece shed today. :)))
Feb.13,2005: She ate 2 hoppers again, and weighed in at 70 grams.
Feb. 26,2005: She ate 2 hoppers again this week, and weighed in at 85 grams
March 5,2005: I got some larger mice at the show and she took 2 of them. She weighs 90 grams now!
March 13,2005: She took 2 large hoppers this week even though she was blue! She also hit 100 grams this week! I measured her at 25.1". Almost grew a foot since I have her! :)))
