Feb. 14,2004: He didn't eat this week. I weighed him this week at 392 grams. Almost up to 400! Angel was at 450 when she passed. Maybe it's me, but he doesn't LOOK like he's as long OR as heavy as Angel was.
Feb. 21,2004: He didn't eat last week and again this week. He was blue though this week. I weighed him at 382 grams. Hmmmm.....maybe he does shrink like the snake measuerer says! LOL
March 14,2004: I've been having computer problems again, so I missed a couple of updates. Anyway, this is what I have from when the comp went down. He weighed 368 grams because he hasn't been eating much. He ate only one hopper mouse one of the little ones didn't eat.
March 21,2004: He ate 2 adult mice!!! I weighed him at 377 grams and measured him at 35.15"
March 28,2004: He didn't eat this week : (. He weighed 405 grams.
April 4, 2004: He ate 2 adult mice and went down to 390 grams.
April 12,2004: He didn't eat again, but he looked like he was in shed. He weighed 418 grams!
April 14,2004: I came home from work today and found Bones shed half way in his water dish. When I tried to take it out it ripped : (. I did a quick check and found both eye caps and the tail tip. So, it's all good : ))).
April 22,2004: I fed last night, and he didn't eat again. I weighed him at only 391 grams. Out of all of them, he alwasy seems to lose the most weight when he's not eating?
April 27,2004: STILL not eating!! I know sometimes males will fast during mating season.....but, I always thought they had to "smell" a female. The only female in the room with him is Raven, but I think she's still too young to be sending out "signals". Anyway, he didn't eat much weight this week, he only lost 2 grams.
May 3,2004: Well, he's up to a month now without eating!!!Errrrr......on the upside though, I measured and weighed him. I measured him at 35.5" and 380 grams. I think that's the first time I measured him at over 35" twice in a row!! LOL I did a double check on him, and the second measurement actually came out to 37.1"!!! I think I'll stick to the shorter measurement so he doesn't shrink again! LOL
I've been trying something with him and Raven the last few months. Both of them are downstairs, and all the others (except Champ now) are upstairs. I noticed that with Bones and Raven being downstairs, their temps were a few degrees lower than the others. I also noticed that they weren't growing like the others either.
All the ones upstairs were alot more slender and growing faster at about 3-4 degrees warmer. Anyway, I upped  their temps to match the others (76-86). Since then, Raven has taken off in growth again, and Bones is actually maintaining and seems to be gaining a bit of length too. (as opposed to losing an inch every other measurement) LOL Amazing what a few degrees can do!!!
May 10,2004: He FINALLY ate!!! He ate 2 rat hoppers. I forgot to weigh him though???
May 17,2004: He ate one rat hopper, and still weighed 380 grams.
May 25,2004: He didn't eat this week, but he looked like he was in shed. He broke 400 grams again, but that probably won't last long. He weighed 404 grams.
May 29,2004: Caught him in mid shed again! He took a dip in his water dish and ripped it again though. : (
June 2,2004: Well, he dropped under 400 grams again, and is at 386. I think he'll gain it all back and then some though. He ate 3 rat hoppers this week. I knew he was hungry because I did a measurement pic of him and when I tried putting him in a good position for the pic, he turned and struck at me!! It took me 3 tries and 3 strikes till I got a pic I could use! LOL Anyway, I FINALLY measured him at 36"!!! HE HIT 3FT!! YAY!!
June 9,2004: He ate 2 weanling rats this week, and weighed in at 416 grams.
June 16,2004: He really put on weight this week! He topped the scale at 443grams! But, he didn't eat : P.
June 30,2004: Well, he didn't eat last time because he shed! I got to see him shed from beginning to end again! Pretty cool!!! He didn't really lose that much weight and is still at 432 grams. He ate one weanling rat. He's getting close to the weight Angel was at when she died, but he STILL doesn't look as big as I remember her. Maybe just me?
July 7,2004: He only ate Bandit's half grown mouse this week. I measured him at 36" again, and weighed him at 440 grams.
July 15,2004: He ate one of Bandit's half growns again, and that was it. He weighed in at 448 grams.
July 21,2004: He didn't eat this week, and he didn't look like he was in shed either? He weighed in at 459 grams! Figures, broke past 450 and didn't eat, so he'll probably drop back down under it.
July 30,2004: He ate one weanling rat this week. He didn't lose too much weight either. He still weighed in at 454 grams! I gotta get measurements next week to see if he's actually growing or just getting fat! LOL
Aug. 11,2004: I can't remember if he ate last week or not? But he weighed in at 456 grams, so if he didn't he gained a little weight anyway! LOL I didn't get a chance to measure yet either. : P He didn't eat this week though.
Aug. 19,2004: Well, he was in shed this week and didn't eat again. I did measurements and I got 2 pics of him this time because the first one he had his head up. The first one he measured 37.6" with his head up and the second one he measured 38.6" with his head flat on the ground. I think I'll still use the first one, even though I know it's not right. Seems he had quite a growth spurt last month!! He weighed 458 grams and gained 2 grams even though he didn't eat last week?
Aug. 27, 2004: This is 3 or 4 weeks now he hasn't eaten. He lost some weight too and is back down to 440 grams. He shed, but I ripped it getting it out of his tank because it dried to his water dish till I found it.
Sept. 4,2004: He FINALLY ate!!! I found some jumbo mice in the freezer, that I wanted to try on him and Champ to see if they'd take them yet. Well, he took one. Better than nothing :))). Good thing he did eat too, he only weighed in at 432 grams this week!
Sept. 11,2004: I guess a jumbo was a bit big for him! He didn't eat again this week. He did get back up to 459 grams though! :)))
Sept. 18,2004: He didn't eat again this week but he was in shed already? He lost a bit of weight and is back down to 448 grams.
Oct. 2, 2004: He still hasn't eaten. It's 3 weeks now AGAIN!! I was busy last week and didn't get a chance to update, but I'm sure he shed! LOL He only weighed 438 grams.
Oct. 9,2004: He FINALLY ate again! I got a bunch of hoppers since everybodies been refusing lately.Well, Bandit, and Phoenix only ate one each, and Ruby STILL didn't eat. So he wound up having the choice between his normal 2 adults, AND 4 hoppers. He ate all 4 hoppers! He's still loosing weight too. He's all the way back down to 432 grams! I measured him this week, and he measured 37.4". Looks like in the last measurement, the first one was right! LOL Should know better by now!
Oct. 19,2004: He didn't eat again. He's gained a bit, and is back to 435 grams.
Oct. 27,2004: He ate WHOLE hopper this week!!! LOL At least it's something! He's back to 432 again. I think I'm starting to see a trend here....seems whenever he gets down to 432 grams he eats something. Be interesting to see if he continues on that "habit".
Nov. 2,2004: He didn't eat this week. But, he still weighed 432 grams. So, I guess there goes that theory! LOL
Nov.13,2004: He only weighed in at 430 grams, but he DID eat 2 hoppers!!!
Nov. 21,2004: He gained a bit of weight to 438 grams, but didn't eat this week.
Dec. 12,2004: He hasn't been eating the last few weeks and is all the way down to 322 grams? I think something must be wrong with my scale, because he doesn't look like he lost THAT much weight. He still looks "solid" without being thin. He did eat this week though. Although it was only one hopper.
Dec. 18,2004: He only weighed in at 310 grams. I think I'm going to have to get a new scale. I can lean on this one and it will only register to 1500 grams even though it's rated for 2500. Must be binding up somewhere? Either way, he didn't eat this week.
Dec. 27,2004: He ate one hopper this week. I'm not going to bother weighing him till I get my scale problems figured out.
Jan. 1,2005: He only took one hopper this week. At least it's something!
Jan. 20,2005: He hasn't been eating, but SORT of made up for it today. He ate 4 hoppers the little ones didn't eat. I did measurements today, and he shrank AGAIN! He only measured 36.8". At least he's still ove 3 ft!!
Feb. 3,2005: He didn't eat last week, but made up for it again. He took 2 hoppers from the little ones, and 2 half grown mice.
