I was beyond pleasantly surprised upon meeting Chris Owens. He's adorable, sweet, and funny. Nothing like Agent Spender at all! His talk was hilarious, with one of my favorite stories being his discussion of discovering some of the fan faction on the Internet. When he said that Nick Lea had been his date to David Duchovny's movie, Return to Me, someone asked him if Nick was a good kisser. Chris just laughed and said mentioned the fan fiction, saying that he had read one story about him and Skinner that shocked him. He was a really good sport about the whole thing.
He also told a funny story about how he used to work in a condom store. I would love the opportunity to see Chris Owens again. I have suddenly found myself to be a big Spender fan all of a sudden. I hope the X-Files finds a way to bring him back.
