Gryphon Valley

You wander into the valley, planning on going right across to the Southern Mountain. But before you even take a third step into the large valley, you see a huge white gryphon frolic past you.

As if he didn't see you the first time, the gryphon turns his head to look at you, then turns toward you, leaping to you. "Hi, I'm Oni!" he says. "Welcome to Gryphon Valley! Please take your time to explore, I'll be around if you need me!" and with that, he bounds off. Blinking, you begin to wander around. Suddenly you spot something in the grass, and take another step to get a closer look. Crouching, you see that it is an egg.

You stand and look around for Oni. He bounds up to you. "Thats a little gryphon egg," he says the obvious. "It will hatch into a female...I'm going to name her Samantha." "How do you know what it will hatch into?" you ask. "It's shape," you explain. "Well, I have to go," you say, walking away.
