SPIRITUAL INSIGHTS PAGE Forgiveness |
The following flow chart is designed to show how an offended believer should respond to an offending believer. Believers should also seek peace with non-believers (Matthew 5:25-26). However, an offending non-believer may not be committed to Biblical principles and so parts of this chart may not apply. Click here for definitions of some the words in the chart.

If the system crashes and burns (the offender thwarts the attempt to reconcile), just drop the issue (1 Corinthians 6:7b)--though you suffer for doing good (1 Peter 2:20b-25).
A man who cannot forgive is a poor fellow indeed, for he punishes himself for the sins of others. -- Charles Spurgeon
