Their say

Steamed Prawn Buns - Beggar So's Hat definitely produces the finest cuisine in terms of reviews! I am such a fan of his grand work, always in the service of shlock! He truly is an artist of the word, yet on a mission to make celluloid art known!

Aint It Cool News - really, the grand-daddy of gonzo, erm, independent film critique. And news, duh.

Internet Movie Database - better than any Wiki will ever be!
My say

these are some old reviews that I originally wrote for my
blog. Well, I had finished the third one and lost steam and by the time I'd regained said steam, the "review" function had been superceded by silly stuff like pictures. Who would ever exchange the good, old, written word for something as high-tech as a picture?! Err...

The Deer Hunter - clearly the most moving film of all times!

One of the most moving films of all time, it needs very little introduction.

House on Haunted Hill - clearly a statement of my poor taste!

I have since seen the original film. I actually think the remake picks up the spirit nicely and yes, does present an improvement. However, it is telling that the original did have a different ending. The new film would have been well off trying to emulate that one (and may have even pulled it off better - the old one's effects were a bit too laughable)!

Artificial Intelligence - clearly a statement of ... oh, I don't know!

A month later, I had annoyingly found out about the editing options on Xanga. This has such a poor start, it embarrasses me - but I won't change it. If you survive past the first few paragraphs, it actually turns out to be a fairly non-idiotic piece.
