Five of a Kind
New AeroSpace Fighters for BattleTech
StarDate 3/3
John A. Theisen
After a campaign, or two, or twelve, air combat can get just a bit dull. True, the variety of designs in the BattleTech Technical Readout is absolutely wonderful for BattleMechs and MechWarriors. But AeroSpace Pilots can get a little bored having just one light, one medium and one heavy AeroSpace Fighter model for each Successor State. After all, how could anyone get excited about creating new and innovative tactics above the battlefield, when the opposition's capabilities are as familiar to you as your own?

So, for the seasoned AeroTech flight leader who tires of using the same three models of AeroSpace Fighter to face the same three models of enemy AeroSpace Fighter in battle after battle, some help has arrived. Complete combat statistics, overviews, illustrations and brief notes on aircraft capabilities are provided here for one additional model from each Successor State. Nevertheless, it must be noted these are not "new" designs that have just been recently developed and manufactured. They are simply AeroSpace Fighter models that are not as common or well known as their more famous counterparts.
