SuperJosh's    Homepage
Hello! My name is Josh Reynolds and by some stroke of phenomenal luck, you've happened upon my homepage. Good work! This is a simple page about me, my friends, and some of the things that I do to waste copious amounts of time. Feel free to poke around and check it out. If you've known me for a while, you just might find some horribly embarrassing picture of yourself here as well.
I live in Richmond Virginia with my younger brother Jacob. He is a graduate of VCU, a soccer nut, and web-design wizard. For those of you that failed U.S. Geography here's a little map of where Richmond is.
Thats me on the right, Darth Josh. Ok so a Dark Jedi I'm not, but you've got to admit its a pretty sweet costume. My brother Jacob is on the left dressed as my favorite G.I. Joe, "Rasta Joe". In the center is one of my college roommates, Paul Lawrence, dressed as a drunken bum who couldn't come up with a real halloween costume.
I moved to Richmond immediately after graduating from the College of William and Mary in May of 1998. It is a great school, and well deserving of its outstanding academic reputation.  My learning outside the classroom was equally impressive. I grew in just about every facet of my life, and came out a more mature and responsible adult (an adult that still dresses up like Darth Vader for Halloween, but an adult nonetheless). I also met many of my best friends at school, and although the real world has scattered us all over the east coast (and beyond), we still manage to visit and party like old times.
As great as it was, college couldn't last forever, and in the final months I was forced to begin looking for something to do after school. My history degree seemed only good for getting into further schooling, which wasn't my first choice. I did have several lucrative offers from Taco Bell and MacDonalds as a Drive-Thru clerk, and for a while it seemed as though a hair net was in my future. Then I had a stroke of luck greater than any slack bum like myself is entitled. Dominion Virginia Power decided to hire and train a handful of young people as mainframe programmers. I had no experience in the field, but tested highly and was offered the job. After careful consideration for about 2 seconds I accepted. I've been with the company for a couple of years now, and it has worked out wonderfully. The pay and benefits are terrific, its an awesome work environment, and I pretty much set my own hours. In the years I've been there I've also found my co-workers to be a great, if odd, bunch. I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank Dominion Virginia Power for giving me this awesome job!
Virginia Power rocks for giving a slacker like me such a sweet job!!
Work keeps me pretty busy, and because of that I don't get to spend a lot of time with my family. Its really too bad, because I've got some awesome relatives, ok so some of them are more crazy than awesome, but they are fun to be around either way. For a page about all my loving and loony family, click on the link to the left.
In late 2001, my brother and I bought a house here in Richmond.  It was a big decision naturally, but interest rates were as low as you can hope for, and we found a place that was perfect for what we wanted. Since then we've been very busy remodeling and modernizing the house. Its been a lot of work, but its turned out better than we could have hoped. Naturally its going to suck for whichever one of us has to leave first, but in the meantime we have the best bachelor pad that doesnt belong to an NBA star. If you'd like to hear more about it, or take a virtual tour, click here.
I do get some free time, and tend to waste it in huge amounts on all sorts of things. I've always loved computers and frequently immerse myself in a variety of strategy and action games. One of my favorites is the strategy card game, Magic. Despite the bad press and obnoxiously young average gamer, it is a really fun game, with millions of variations and a certain amount of chance that makes it interesting every time. In late 1999 I won a spot on the Magic Pro Tour and travelled to Chicago to play against the very best Magic players in the world. The picture to the right will take you to my Magic page.
All of these things are really background.  On page 2 I'll talk more about whats going on in my life these days (the bustling Richmond social scene, my sweet ride,  buddies, etc). You can get there by clicking on the fiery fellow to the right.
