Joël Lindheimer's skills as a composer and guitarist are as notable for their idiomatic versatility as they are for their lyrical integrity. His abilities span an enormous range of musical disciplines, allowing him to write and produce original European style Classical orchestral scores as convincingly as he does popular works grounded in a variety of contemporary world music traditions.

      His compositions have been performed and/or recorded by the New York New Music Ensemble, Earplay, the Alexander String Quartet, the Sirius Ensemble, AGaPe Performance Group,John Duykers, Jerry Garcia (from the Grateful Dead), Clarence Clemons (Bruce Springstein's E Street Band), Bill Ortiz (CBS), the Michael Pluznick Group (Narada/MCA), Radim Zenkl (Shanachie), and others.

      Joël's discography includes producer's, writer's and performer's credits on the critically well-received Rhythm Harvest with the Michael Pluznick Group (Narada/MCA) which rose to 24 on Billboard's Adult Alternative Chart; Drummers Journey with Small Village (Antiqua Label); Heat Beat with Michael Pluznick (Well Tempered World); his latest CD Miles Dean, features a new blend of "World Jazz"; and the Poco Loco and Angel Blue Soundtracks.
