Through this program, students will develop the necessary conditioning for endurance running and learn the basic techniques for distance running. The program is designed to gradually build up the students' running fitness and have them able to confortably run for 30 continuous minutes by the end of the training period. Class participants should be able to do training runs of at least 20 minutes for Running 102 level; at least 25 minutes for Running 103 level; at least 40 minutes for Running 200/300 level. Appropriate workouts will be offered for each fitness level - Running 102, 103, 203, 303.
