My philosophy on art is sophistication in the use of color, and subtlety of form and design.  Much like the abstract impressionists, who have had a profound influence on my art, I try not to violate the two dimensional surface of the canvas.  Formalism, with respect to perspective and three dimensional rendition are not my concern.  I believe that the inner emotions of the artist are best brought out by intuitive painting.  This philosophy applies to all his works of art in any medium.  If one has to pause and think of principles and dogmas on composition and color, the work suffers from lack of emotion and vitality. I have been told by my mentors that my paintings always have air in them.  This one salient point can best be arrived at, through sensitivity to color and the placement of brush strokes, with meandering thoughts.
