He's so lovely!   Just like a little child, it seems that if you give him a candy, he'll stop crying and smile again .  =)  Still, do you think he would really cry like that when he's sad?  Well, at least I myself don't think he will.  I think he would hide in a corner and sob quietly, without others knowing it.

Let's face it - most of the time, we just look at Jiro's baby face and conclude he's childish (this is always commented by my friends); however, this is a serious misconception - he was born with that face!  It does not necessarilly indicate his character.  Yes, he's cute, but you can't say he's childish.  You might say, "How about his behavior on stage?  He just jumps and fools around, like a little boy playing."  Well, this is how he acts on stage only.
He has a plan of how to attract people with this particular behavior!  

From the "Photo and Essay" in Caramel Book, which was written by Jiro, he said:

"In the serious of  the 'pure soul' tour in '98, the image of 'Jiro' become bigger and bigger in me; so, I thought during the tour: "How do I want to be seen by others, and what are others' expectations of me?  I can act in the way I want in the actual situation."

If you say he's playing, then he is the genius of  "how to play on stage".
I don't know why - many people think Jiro is not too clever, or they haven't even thought of this question.  When people talk of the "intelligent" among Glay members, they will only think of Takuro.  What do you think?  Is Jiro clever? Let's see what we can find. . .

First of all, listen to the baselines he has written.  Some of them are really complicated.  Not many others bassists can do that!  

Secondly, recall your history of Glay - Jiro is the one who brought Glay out of the "dark age".  He suggested many new ideas and made many opportunities for them to have concerts.

Third of all, he can always earn a living.  He started to work when he was a student, and he found a job quickly when he arrived in Tokyo. 

From all of these points, we can see Jiro is not only clever, but full of intelligence.  (I think he's smarter then Takuro =P  Just my opinion.) 

"Jiro is so active!"  This is what people think after watching Glay in concert; however, what I found out from Caramel Book is this:

"I think I am those who don't like to play outside.  When I am eating outside, I prefer a place with tasteless food, but quiet rather those noisy places with lots of people!"

Obviously he is not active, and he doesn't even like to hang out.  He likes to stay at home!   In conclusion: "Jiro" is there only when there's hair gel and cosmetics.  As he said:

"People want to find the 'pop Jiro' when I am off-stage but, unluckily, when I am in work and in private, this image of 'Jiro' will disappear."
