Once upon a time, Snow White was walking through the forest. She came upon a clearing and saw this big house that was made of cake and candy. She was tired and wanted to rest, so she walked up to the door and knocked.

A voice answered, "I'm not your maid. Open it yourself."

Snow White opened the door very slowly. She stuck in her head to look for the voice. "Hello. Hello. Who's here?" she asked.

Then Mama Bear came into the living room. This scared Snow White so much she turned to run. She ran right into Papa Bear. He was so big that she bounced off him and fell to the floor. There was a baby bear too. He was standing behind Papa Bear. He walked around Papa Bear and looked down at Snow White. "Only a dummy would run into my daddy's tummy."

"What do you want?" asked Mama Bear. Papa Bear hitched us his pants and said, "This is my house. I'll ask the questions." "I'm sorry, go right ahead," said Mama Bear. "What do you want?" asked Papa Bear.

"I was walking in the woods. I'm tired and want to rest," she said, still sitting on the floor. "Can you cook?" asked Mama Bear. "Yes I can," Snow White said standing up. "Oh good!" said Mama Bear. She went over to her and gave her a big bear hug. "What's for lunch?" asked Baby Bear. "You need to ask her," Snow White said pointing to Mama Bear. "Don't point at me. That's very rude to point. Who are you anyway?" she asked.

"I'm Snow White. And who are you?" "I am Bea Bear. Just call me Mama." "I'm Bruan Bear. Just call me Papa." "I'm Junior Bear. You call be Baby and I'll kick you in the shin. You can me Butch!"

"I'm very please to meet you," Snow White said with a curtsy. "Talk, talk, talk. When do we eat?" asked Baby or Butch."

Mama Bear took Snow White by the hand. "The kitchen is this way." They walked to the kitchen as Snow White looked all around. Papa Bear and Butch sat down at the table. "You need some help with lunch?" asked Snow White. "Oh my no!" You are fixing lunch. And it better be good," said Mama Bear.

Snow White was left alone in the kitchen. "Let me see. What do bears eat, maybe a nice salad. Oh, I found a big kettle of soup, but it's cold. Let's see how do I boil water?"

The bears started banging on the table and yelling, "Food, food, bring us food." Papa Bear adds, "Don't make me come in there."

Snow White staggers in carrying a large tray. She sits the tray down, takes a bowel of soup and sits it down in front of each bear. Mama Bear tasted it and said, "What is this stuff floating in my soup?" Papa Bear tasted it and said, "Fe, fi, fo, fum, you must think I'm awfully dumb. This soup has lumps in it. I don't eat lumps." Butch sat with his arms folded and scowled at Snow White. "What's the matter Butch?" asked Snow White. "I don't like soup," he said.

Snow White had to think fast. "I'll take care of that. You stay right there. Don't move now, she said backing into the kitchen. She looked around and seen the back door. She opened it, ran out, and kept going clear across the yard and into the forest.

"I should know any one who lives in a candy and cake house must be hard to please," she said running. She ran over the river and through the woods, past three small houses, and down a very crooked road. She stopped in the middle of the road and started to laugh. "No wonder they didn't like my soup. That was Mama Bear's dishwater. I thought it was my cooking," she said. She walked over the hill as she whistled aloud and followed the road home.

The moral to the story is: Don't feed bears dishwater in a house you can eat.
