1. Pricewatch.com This is a good site. It is simple to use and find what your looking for. The colors and layout or the site is a good blend for this particular site. It also has a search engine located at the top of the page. There are no pictures on this site so it loads quickly.
2. Internet Movie Database This site is great site to find out info on movies. It also contains some info on the actors/actresses in the movies. There are few pictures on the main page. One or two popup ads and a couple ads on the page. There is a search engine for looking up movies using the movie title, actor, quotes, etc...
3. Ticketmaster.com Place to buy concert and other event tickets online. Their info on all the events stays up to date and accurate. The layout and color scheme is good. Its easy to find what your looking for. I have purchased tickets from this site and never had any problems. All the diffrent type of events are in seperate catagories.
4. Yahoo.com One of the top search engines used on the web. However If you use the site you have to dig through catagory after catagory of sites to find what your looking for. Yahoo offers info on about anything you want from stocks to fantasy sports leagues. The search engine part itself isn't that bad. Download time is very short maybe a couple of seconds.
5. CNN.com One popup window when u first go to the site. Few pictures to have to download. Links to current news headlines are good. They offer video and sound files to download if you have the right media player to use. Seems like a simple and easy site to navigate and find information.
6. ICQ.com This site has to much to digest on the main page. Takes quite a few seconds to go from page to page and for the main page to download. Offers some user and non-user items to look through. I mainly just visit the site to get updated versions of the icq program. The site does offer tutorials on how to use the program.
7. Activision.com Very slow download time on the campus network. Took time for the menu bars and pictures to download. Background and text color make a good combination. The main page shows some of the new games the company has out. The menu bar allows games to be sorted by diffrent catagories. There is also a menu bar for support and investor information. Overall this is a decent site.
8. thepit.com This site is good for tradeing, selling, or buying sports cards. The scrolling stock bar at the bottom of the page would take a while to load on a slower connection. It might take longer for it to update as well. Provides info on the company. Easy to find certain cards. And also includes a search engine for the site itself.
9. Blizzard.com SIte takes a while to completely download. Very few pictures on main page. The site provides and updates and news about the games. You can download new maps for certain games as well as tips, tricks, hints, and cheats for their games. The background colors and font colors work well.
10. MIRC.com This site has a quick download time for the main page. I dont like the background color to it. There is much text to read through on the site. They could cut down on some text by putting it in subcatagories. The site mainly just tells what mirc is and the things that you an do with it.
