Writing a realistic Mulder Post-Requiem can be near impossible, but Shawen does so with a flawless, and still personal touch. Her words are properly vague, hinting at the horrors we saw in 'Within' and 'Without'. They seemed almost written and acted to White Noise, rather than the other way around.
