REVIEW: Jordan Valley Express, Northern Michigan
May 23, 1998

The Tubes gave an awesome performance in Northern Michigan on May 23, at Jordan Valley Express in front of a loyal following of only 200 fans. The scene resembled a private party more than a concert as fans were treated to over 2 hours of great music. Although the crowd was small, nothing was held back.

The Tubes interacted often with the crowd, asking questions and even taking a few requests. Fee was humerous and very appreciative at the dedication of the fans in attendance. For the lucky few that arrived early, they were treated to an open sound check and some one on one with band members.

The night closed with "Talk to you Later" and the band personally went into the crowd to thank those that attended. What a rare priviledge it was for my wife and I after seeing this band evolve from it`s early days. The crowds may be smaller but The Tubes are still first class in every way. We can`t wait to see them in Detroit the end of June!
