This page is my memorial to the victims, rescue workers, and survivors,
of the tragic Attack on America, September 11, 2001, and to all their loved ones.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
GOD BLESS THE USA
If tomorrow all the things were gone
I'd worked for all my life,
And I had to start again
with just my children and my wife,
I'd thank my lucky stars
to be living here today,
'Cause the flag still stands for freedom
and they can't take that away.
I'm proud to be an American
where at least I know I'm free,
And I won't forget the men who died
who gave that right to me,
And I gladly stand up next to you
and defend her still today,
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land

to the hills of Tennessee,
Across the plains of Texas

John, your family, friends and loved ones are in my prayers. On Tuesday morning, September 11th, my husband and I took the 7 AM train...VRE...from Old Town Manassas to Washington, DC. We saw several Army men on the train. If you were one of them, I'm sorry I didn't take the time to say "Thank you for serving our nation." I would like to take this time to say "Thanks!" to all the men and women who serve our country in all branches of the military.

I just wanted to add that I was in Washington, DC the morning of the attack. We were on vacation, visiting my daughter in Manassas, VA. We decided to spend that day visiting Washington, DC.
