Internship at Benjamin Franklin Elementary School
Fall 2000-Spring 2001

The minute I stepped foot into Mrs. Scarpino's first and second grade classroom I knew that I wanted to become a teacher.  I had such an amazing experience with the students, and they taught me so much about who I am as a person and what is really important in life.  Although I fell in love with my young students, I realized that my love for literature, and my love for teaching could only be complimented by becoming an English teacher for a secondary school.  I value my past experiences and look foward to what the future holds.  I had the honor of working with several students on the novel Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
