| GUTEN TAG JAGDFLIEGER! WILLKOMMEN to the JAGDGESCHWADER 3 "UDET's" squad website. My name is Oberst Twodogs5 and I am the Kommodore or Commanding Officer for JG 3. Let me tell you a llitle about us. We represent the Jagdgeschwader (Fighter Wing) 3 UDET that flew for the German Luftwaffe in World War II. We fly in the Combat Flight sim ACES HIGH in the COMBAT THEATER or CT. Our squad nights are TUESDAY & THURSDAY at 10:00 pm EST with a informal practice on SUNDAY at 9:00 pmEST. This squad was formed by several dedicated combat sim pilots that had a real intrest in the Luftwaffe, it's aircraft, history and tactics. Our goal was to always try and fly as a SQUAD useing actual LW tactics, formations & radio callsigns to make our flying time as realistic as possible without getting shot! |
| While we did form JG 3 for the main reason of having fun, socializing with friends and just generally for letting some steam off we do fly by a VERY STRICT set of rules and code of conduct. Many people have worked long and hard to build JG 3 "UDET" into what it is today, A "Class Act" that is one of the most well respected squads flying in the Combat Theater and we intend to keep it that way. Those that can't or won't measure up to the standard we have set I am afraid won't last long in the squad. Those that do join and bring a willingness to learn, fly by the rules and make an honest effort at it will have one of the most rewarding flying sim experiences that you can have. You are almost guaranteed to have fun and make new friends. |
