Sylpheel
is one of the priestesses of Laguladia (Suiryu-ou or "Water Dragon
King"), 
otherwise known as Aqua. Most of you might point to Sylpheel
as the "Ideal Woman of the Society"... because of her poise,
her dignified way of speaking, the way she acts...
She's the kind of person who would never want to see anyone being
harmed, even if that person is a complete stranger to her...(if that
"anyone" doesn't deserved to be harmed). She is very good
at White Magic, and is very good at Resurrection and Recovery spells.
But, she isn't really good in casting other spells (shaman spells,
black magic spells...). Tell her to cast a Flare Arrow and you'll
be surprised: it looks like a carrot... ^o^
Anyway, even so, she had managed to learn one of the powerful spells
there is: The Dragon Slave. Why? Because she thinks that he is attracted
to Lina because of her skills... you know, like, she sees 
it as a
competition to win Gourry... uh... -_-
She really liked Gourry... here's the story behind it: years ago,
when there was this mazoku that attacked Sailarg, Gourry was just
a passer-by and he accidentally killed that mazoku... he left before
anyone could thank him and Sylpheel kinda heard his name from others,
and ever since then, she looked up to him as a sort of hero, and she
called him "Gourry-sama".
Sylpheel's father died because Copy Rezo blew up Sailarg.
She is, however, sensitive to the feelings of others and she seems
to know how Lina & Gourry feels for each other. Maybe she isn't
really convinced that Lina's intention to Gourry is to get the Hikari
no Ken.
