| What it is ? Witchcraft is not too complicated to explain.It's not a science or an exact religion , for me it's more an art,a manner to live , a thing which have to be done with wishdom and knowledge.Witchcraft is a kind of magic , and magick is the energy around us.We use this energy and transforme it.Witchcraft is the art the use energy , to transforme it and to appreciate it. What is a witch ? A witch is a person which practice witchcraft.A witch is not automatically a wiccan (a person which practice wicca ) , the person can choose to follow another path.That's why we said all wiccan are witches but not all witches are wiccan.A witch know what she or he does , knowledge and wishdom are two important word. What kind of magic they practice ? They don't practice white or black magic if you have this question in mind.Magic don't have a color.They simply practice witchcraft , a form of magic like all magic is.They don't practice high or low magic.I don't know who invented this but this is ridiculous.If you choose a path , your magic will not be higher to another. Do you have an ethic ? I personnaly think that the ethic of witchcraft is to be responsable and mature.In witchcraft you don't believe in the three fold law and to the wiccan rede because wicca and witchcraft are different but similar.Witchraft is older than wicca .Witchcraft is very close to the earth , you don't need tools and all ceremonies like you can possibly did in wicca.Responsable and mature was and are the only ethic . Is it true : a witch can cast a spell on me ? Yes and no.If you don't believe in magic , of course nothing will happen.If you believe , if someone tell you I will cast a spell on you and after this something not normal happen,they did it. That's happen because in your mind you never stop thinking about it and you are so sure that will happen and that's happen for real.That's mostly happen because you were a bit scare of what could possibly happen and you probably don't know what is a witch .Don't worry , a witch will not hurt and kill you for any reason.Life is sacred , they will not hurt you for fun , all life , the nature is sacred and the word respect have a sense in witchcraft and in all form of paganism or neo-paganism.The ethic is important and it is respect by witches.So the true answer is no they can't cast a spell on you becasue it's the opposite of their ethic.They cast spell to help not to hurt.If you are so scare , try to talk with someone which practice a form of paganism and you will understand what I mean.If you wish , you can e-mail me and ask any questions. Do you dance naked under the moon ? No , this is a personnal choice and like my sister said , if you do it , you will be probably arrested for exhibitionism.This is a part of the myth on witches. Warlock or witch ? Men and women are both witches.Warlock is an old term which have no link with witchcraft.If you call a men warlock , you will be ridiculous. Is it only for women ? No. A men can be a witch too and practice any pagan path exept a specific tradition of wicca call Dianic wicca which are only for women but you have some coven which accept men too.Men and women are equal in any path you just have to choose the good path for you. I have to be initiate to begin to practice ? No , you begin exactly like in any other religion , you don't have to be initiate by someone.I suggest to you to read on the subject to have a better comprehension of it. |
