| Pagan vs pagan : the agressiveness between them . |
| This is a delicate subject but I think it's a necessity to talk about it because it seem more and more present.Pagan are agressive with other pagan , what do I mean ? Pagan which read this section will maybe undertsand faster , for other, let me explain . Some web site try to denigrate and ridicule people which practice paganism , in particular wicca.These people who denigrate other people are pagan too.Which mean some pagan denigrate other pagan because they choose to practice wicca.The question is WHY ? I will not name this site because I respect the webmaster but it's important to know why they do it.The fact is a lot of people who practice wicca have no idea of what it is in reality .It's more for the fun of doing magic and for other reason they don't take it seriously.Wicca is , the way I see it , a pagan path which is the more accessible to everyone.Information are easier to find than any other path of paganism.Because people practice wicca for fun , because this kind of people exist , some pagan think everyone are the same.Serious people don't exist.I'm sorry but serious people exist and they are in a greater number .After that , we are suppose to think that pagan have an open mind because pagan always said they have an open mind., Well some of them need a gentle reminder. What I have seen on different web site is specially agressive like : wiccan are suckers , wiccan are just new age people ,always wear black cloth .This is only the begining.Webmaster of this site are agressive , they looks like on the defensive.They explain their point of view with a kind of agressiveness which is not a necessity.Why you don't take the time to explain with a lot of patience.Do you know the word respect ?When you do this people , you destroy the image of pagan in general.Pagan always claim to be peacefull , have a great open mind and a great respect other people .You give a negative image and I'm sure , theirs no pagan who want to be associate with the image you gave . Please remember agressiveness is not a part of the solution.Try to communicate with people and specially with people who think differently or with other who have different belief. |
