| What happend in the 21century.Well , a lot of thing.Paganism have take an uncertain place in the society.You can found special shop , a lot of book , thousand of web site , organisation , circle , grove , a pagan pride day were found.Name it , I'm sure it still existe.What I mean by uncertain place.All this thing are related to one thing : your computer.Yes pagan have take their place but discrimination is more present in this century.Religious war have not dissapear and my sister told me a week ago how scare she was , sometimes she think that the burning time can happend again.I recently learn something amazing : a town refuse to see a pagan school be open because it will not be good for the image .Who ever say that the pagan community have nothing to be worry about it ? Our ancestor were so ignorant and they let their ignorance take the control over their humanity.Thousand of people were hanged or burned , why? Because people were scare of what they don't know and with this religion who said to be the only one it doesn't help , hysteria became bigger.More than one factor is responsable in this story.No one want this major mistake happend again , we have to do something.We should not the story be repeat. The tv and movie don't always give a good image and it doesn't help the myths to dissapear.In the movie the craft , the character of Nancy is a witch who wear black clothes , kill for no reason and she want to control anything and everyone.We rarely see normal people. And what pagan are doing to change thing.Some little shop and web site is not the only solution.On the web , we can say pagan are almost everywere.In the real world , well ...where are you people.Group of people are not found at every corner of the street.You are rare.Church are everywhere and you ? Where are you.Statistic said we are more than 5 million pagan , so ...Maybe it's because people prefere their computer to human. Congratulation , your on a good way to be ignore by more than half of the population.It can be a question of discrimination but I really think we should take more than this " place " or people can easily think we are too secret , that bring the circle of myth and of course myth bring discrimination.Pagan who live with discrimination sometimes act like victim , but what have you done to change that.Answer : nothing.It's not too late to change the futur, so please do something for your own good and for other.Please don't act like some pagan .Some prefer to be blind or ignore the truth and say everything is find and perfect.We are far from the perfection. When a pagan school is open , it's an important step.You are view by people and you say yes we exist and we are really present in the world.It's the same thing for a group of discution.It's important to be outside of a computer , it's a very good way for communication but it's not enough. What the pagan community want is not to be understand or accept by people , what we really want is respect and it's the fisrt and more important thing , the respect of people. |
