You are lunatic Counter to check into the asylum

I'm not crazy...really, I'm not. Maybe slightly off-center but not certifiably, stark-raving, beyond-a-shadow-of-a-doubt mad. Umm...well okay...maybe just a little bit :-)

"Our house, in the middle of the street... Our house..." The house I used to live in up through August of 1998 really was sort of in the middle of the block, just about halfway up a hill.   We've pulled up stakes since then, moving to a much bigger house, which isn't in the middle of the block, but it's still a place filled with activity.  If you should happen to drop in someday, you might find it does somewhat resemble a mental ward. There's always something going on and it can get pretty hectic and crazy!  But what do you expect from a house that's filled with 5 children, 2 adults, a dog and a cockatiel  -- not to mention the accumulated clutter of 21 years of marriage by a couple of true-blue packrats -- perfection? Neatness?  I don't THINK so.

So...who lives in this house? Let's start with the kids...there's 5 of them ranging in age from 11 to 20.  And yes, they're all the product of my one and only and current marriage.  The two oldest aren't currently at home, but are off at college at separate ends of the country.

I mentioned pets...we have two, currently, Sammie and Yoda. Sammie is a 6-yr-old cockatiel -- we've had him since he was just a baby. Yoda is an approximately 7-yr-old Australian Cattle Dog, adopted April 30, 1997 from the local Humane Society. You can find out more about Yoda by clicking here.

I'll be adding on to the page shortly, so keep checking back to see what's new.

All patients must  sign in at the Front Desk.

To see what other loonies have visited the Mental Ward, open this door.

And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear
You shout and no one seems to hear
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon
