| Friday 23rd January 2004: - Practice went fairly sexually really. Got into the swing of playing as a unit and timing etc... got better as it went on. The main song to break us in was Letters To You by Finch, with Dan and Jon taking the vocals in turns. Overall, a rather sexy affair of a first practice with at least one song under the belt. Next song we're 'supposed' to be learning is Last Train Home by Lost Prophets. Next practice scheduled for Feb 6th. |
| Friday 30th January 2004: - Ok. A very major line-up change has occured this week as of today. Dan has put down the bass to do just vocals, Rob has taken the bass to play the bass as he has taken the bass in which he will learn to play the bass as the bass player in the band playing the bass, and Jon has dropped the sticks to play guitar in Rob's old slot as Rob is now playing the bass.This means a temporary drummer was called upon. From an old band Jon used to be in, Inert, Mark Bennett was called in as all other band members were unable to find drumers who were'nt drug addicts, this includes Rob, who now plays bass. As some of you will also notice, the site's layout has been completely changed. Opinions are welcome. If anyone knows a drummer who is free, who is very able to use 2 kick drums (Jon's levers are available) and is into the same genre-ish, except Jon of course as he is now playing guitar as Rob, who plays bass, is playing bass, then please let one of us know. Although the band have no current plans to start writing their own material, Jon & Dean have co-written a song called "Chezo Lezo", inspired by nasty yet seemingly tediously funny thoughts about one of their close friends boyfriends, with a random dedication to Dan's ex Caroline Cooper in there somewhere. On an added note, we hear Alice Instone is returning to 6th form next week after a very long a shitty bastard battle with a lot of ickyness, mainly consisting of glandualr fever. | Tuesday 10th February 2004: Hello again. New song written, lyrics tabs and all sexy bits by Jon called '4 Walls' which is to be put together next practice. The next two practice's are acheduled for 20th feb and 5th march providing all members are sober after this coming weekend. Last Train Home coming on very sexily. nothing much else done. Rob, still on bass, is still playing bass and is doing quite well on the bass, as
you know... rob now plays bass. On a final added note, Rob plays bass. |
