Welcome to the Indian Trails Chapter Web site. Our chapter is located in Portage County in the Great State of Ohio. Chartered in 1987 our Chapter presently has 51 members. Our monthly programs held in Kent, Ohio are informative, educational and pertain to current events and issues. We are a professional association for administrative assistants, office coordinators, executive secretaries, office managers, and other administrative professionals. Membership offers opportunities for networking, professional and personal development, support, and friendship. Indian Trails Chapter has received many awards over the years for efforts in membership retention, outstanding communications through the Chapter newsletter:The Trailblazer; and many other achievements reached through the efforts of their membership. At Indian Trails Chapter we understand that IAAP is an integral part of the office professional's every day achievements. It is our Chapter's goal to provide office professionals with the tools and resources administrative professionals need. We are part of Ohio Division IAAP, and encourage members to attend the Ohio Division Annual Meeting each year in June. We invite you to join us as our guest at one of our monthly meetings.
Regular Chapter meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month at the Davey Tree Institute located at 1500 N Mantua Street, Kent, Ohio. Special events are held off-site at locations to be announced. The meetings typically begin at 5:45 p.m. with dinner followed by a short business session and a speaker. Meetings are open to guests and IAAP members.
