HOMEOPATHY AND BED WETTING

Normally a child learns to achieve control over his/her bladder by the age of 3 or latest by 5 years. However if involuntary urination continues beyond this age it needs investigation. More often than not, the cause is emotional but it is important to first rule out any physical problems before assuming it to be an emotional problem & treating it as such. Any physical problem will usually lead to bed-wetting or involuntary urination even when the child is awake & not just in sleep. A routine check-up by a doctor is usually enough to rule out physical problem. Once a physical problem is ruled out, we need to be sympathetic with the child & not punish/jest/ scold him/her. The emotional cause needs to be found-it could be some reason at school, at home, with friends-just about anything could have upset the child.Most cases are curable with homeopathic medicines.
