| Every Fall teams of flintlock riflemen from several states converge on Boonesborough, Kentucky to determine which state has the most skilled flintlock riflemen. The Indiana Flintlock Team participates in the Interstate Flintlock Shoot held at Fort Boonesborough State Park, Boonesborough, Kentucky each fall. This shoot is sponsored by the Kentucky's Corps of Longriflemen. Tryouts for the 2009 team will be held at Fall Creek Valley Conservation Club near Anderson, IN and Riley Conservation Club near Terre Haute, IN.
