HI AND WELCOME TO MY HOMEPAGE. I AM FROM NEW DELHI AND I STUDY IN CLASSES VII. THIS PAGE IS DEDICATED TO MY COUNTRY INDIA, MY PARENTS AND SCHOOL FRIENDS Prachi, Hetal and  Monica.

THE INDIAN FLAG IS ALSO KNOWN AS THE TRICOLOR OR TIRANGA. The design of the flag was adopted by India's constituent assembly 22nd july, 1947. Our Indian flag has 24 spokes.   IN 1953, THE FLAG WAS  HOISTED ON MT. EVEREST FOR THE FIRST TIME.       The Indian Flag is a sign of India's freedom and victory.

The  use and display of our flag is regulated by the flag  code of India .................................................................................................... "It will be necessary for us Indians -- Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Jews, Parsis and all others to whom India is their home -- to recognise a common flag to live and die for."--  Mahatma Gandhi's quote on the flag.
