Welcome to IndiaEconomics - a website focusing on some specific aspects of the Indian economy, namely:

• international trade/ international economics of India
• political economy of trade and the PE of transnational corporations related to India
• the evolution of TNCs and industrial organization in India
• macroeconomics of the Indian economy

TO BE UPDATED. I am working as a postdoctoral research economist at the Imperial College, London (Wye Campus). I am working on a Research Councils’ sponsored project on alternative (and integrated) pest management strategies in the UK economy and technology adoption decisions, which encompasses environmental economics, resource economics and applied microeconometrics. My role on the project team includes risk modelling and econometric modelling of technology adoption decisions. I completed my BA Economics (Honours) degree from the University of Delhi and my MA (Global Political Economy) from the University of Hull. I obtained a Master's degree in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi. I recently completed my PhD (economics) from the University of Sheffield. My teaching interests include microeconomics, international economics and quantitative methods (including econometrics).
