A)AGGRAND Performance.
Why use Natural Organic Fertilizer?  Numerous studies have shown that the use of slow release fertilizer provides many benefits over synthetic chemical fertilizers.
How good is it?  Organic fertilizers promote growth by stimulating the health of the soil as well as the plant through “soft” methods vs. the “hard” mechanisms of chemical fertilizers. AGGRAND Natural Organic Fertilizer 4-3-3 contains condensed fish extract, cold water kelp (seaweed) extract, blood meal, micro nutrients, chelating agents and naturally occurring hormones.  Other high analysis fertilizers contain artificial, chemical additives that promote short term growth at the expense of the soil as well as the health of the plant.  Plants develop shallow root systems and overgrown tops.
Analyses over 10, total, usually indicates the presence of chemical adjuncts which provide rapid “green-up” but damage or kill the beneficial microbes in the soil leading to weak plants and depleted, salt laden soils.  More chemicals are then used to compensate for this, accelerating the downward spiral.
The following is extracted from the “Biodynamics 1998 Resource Catalog,”  page 3: “Chemical agriculture has developed short-cuts to quantity by adding soluble minerals to the soil.  The plants take these up via water, thus by-passing their natural ability to seek from the soil what is needed for healthy, vitality and growth.  The result is a deadened soil and artificially stimulated growth.”
The following is extracted from the "Bio-Gardener's Bible" pages 60-61:  “... To summarize, seaweed is a uniquely valuable material, providing complete assortments of all biologically active minerals, plus chelating substances.  It provides plant hormones, auxins and gibberellins to help stimulate and regulate plant growth.  Specifically, it provides cytokinins that support and sustain photosynthesis, thus maintaining carbohydrate supplies for use in the nitrogen fixing process.  Seaweed further provides soil conditioning substances to promote desirable crumb structure in soils, and to improve the soil environment for beneficial organisms.  ...seaweed also helps plants resist damage from insects and plants diseases.  However, seaweed need not perform these important horticultural assignments alone.  It is most effective when used in conjunction with fish fertilizers.  In fact, the finest and most cost effective fertilizers for biological gardening and farming are formulated with both seaweed and fish as primary ingredients.
...Fish and fish dressing wastes are complete, balanced fertilizer materials.  On a dry basis, they contain about 12% nitrogen (N), 4% phosphate (P2O5) and potash (K20), plus significant amounts of secondary and trace minerals.  These fish materials thus complement seaweed, which contains less than 1% each of nitrogen and phosphate.  In well-formulated seaweed and fish based fertilizers:
      - fish materials add the important major plant foods, nitrogen, phosphate and potash, plus moderate supplies of secondary and trace minerals.  Fish material also provides the bulk organic matter essential foliar fertilizers to avoid shock and burning of plants.
      - seaweed materials provide complete assortment of 40 to 50 trace minerals, assuring that none is omitted.  And, seaweed provides the important cytokinin hormones, plus auxins and gibberellins.”  It is rare to find a 10% organic fertilizer that is both seaweed and fish based.

B) Easy Steps to Organic Lawn Care
Organic lawn care offers lawn care professionals an environmentally compatible easy-to-use alternative to high input care.  Organic care improves the beauty and vigor of your clients' lawns - and reduces your cost of doing business.

Converting your business to organic methods is easy with AGGRAND products. The foundation of the AGGRAND organic lawn care line program, AGGRAND Natural Organic Fertilizer 4-3-3 will improve your whole operation, from the quality of the lawns you produce to your profitability. Prevailing lawn care practices depend upon high rates of nitrogen input which promotes an excessive leaf development to root reserve ratio.  Such over-abundant top growth is easy prey to disease organisms and insects, while the shallow root system can't cope with drought stress.  Abundant top growth also leads to abundant clippings, which outstrip the ability of soil organisms to break down dead materials, leading to thatch buildup, increased disease risk and unsightly appearance.  Finally, all that top growth needs frequent mowing.
Organically managed lawns develop deep roots, enabling them to tap subsoil water reserves and resist drought damage.  Chemically managed lawns develop shallow roots and can be susceptible to drought stress.

AGGRAND Natural Organic Fertilizer helps lawns develop deep root systems with proportional top growth by supplying nitrogen as part of a balance of nutrients. Due to its balanced growth, the organic lawn resists disease, insects and drought much more successfully than do high input lawns.  Organically managed lawns cycle nutrients efficiently, preventing thatch buildup.  In fact, recycling thatch actually gives the lawn an extra two pounds of nitrogen per 1000 square feet.  Finally, organic lawns require less mowing than high nitrogen lawns.

Conventional lawn care practices may cause micro nutrient deficiencies and inefficient nitrogen usage.  Plants take up nitrogen and micro nutrients in a fixed proportion, so when nitrogen is highly abundant, micro nutrients should be, too.  But most commercial fertilizers don't supply micro nutrients, so lawns may suffer micro nutrient deficiencies and also fail to use all the supplied nitrogen.

AGGRAND Natural Organic Fertilizer contains kelp, a potent source of micro nutrients.  And because AGGRAND is organic, its nutrients are held by the soil - a natural time release feature.  Plants get the nutrients they need when they need them.  Conventional fertilizers supply nitrogen as a salt.  Salts dissolve quickly in soil.  Quick nitrogen release encourages weed growth.  In fact, a late season nitrogen spike specifically favors crabgrass.  Lawn grasses respond to a nitrogen spike by producing excessive top growth in lieu of laying in stores of carbohydrates.  Lawns with poor carbohydrate reserves go dormant during drought or other stressful times.  Rapid fertilizer release also allows nitrogen to leach through the soil and pollute ground and surface waters.

AGGRAND Natural Organic Fertilizer supplies its entire complement of nutrients as organic compounds, such as carbohydrates and proteins.  These water insoluble compounds are held in the soil until micro nutrients and other organisms digest them, "time releasing" plant nutrients, with no leaching, no pollution. Salt based fertilizers often change soil in ways that reduce micro nutrients and earthworm populations, and consequently reduce nutrient cycling, decrease soil organic content, increase soil compaction and damage soil structure.
