Having grown up thinking that INXS is the Best Rock band around (being Australian and all), I would like to think that INXS was the whole band and not just Michael, but I agree that it will be hard for the remaining band members to go on without him and b successful, but I wish them luck. Ever since I heard "Listen Like Theives" for the first time at the age of only 5, I knew this was the band for me. Looking back on the 80's you realise how different their music was from other rock. Their music could take you on adventures. I have never h ard another band use imagery so well in their sound. When I hear their music I see different styles and colors. Into the 90's "Welcome to Wherever You Are" took me through these mind trips of style and color like never before. This band could use a saxaphone or harmonica and use them in ways other bands wouldnt be able to get away with. Can you name another band held together by a lead singer with a lisp? No other voice would have worked so well with that band.

Great site! Thanks for maintaining it and providing all the great photos of Michael's funeral. I can't believe it has been almost a whole year since we lost him. It is great to know that others feel the same way about INXS. I get very little feedback o support in San Antonio, everyone thinks of INXS as only a "Dance band" and we are very lucky if we even hear their biggest hits on the radio. My first INXS concert was March 25, 1988 in Philadelphia and it was one of the best experiences of my life. So much energy, one great song after another, dancing my little heart out. it's april now, and i can't believe it. it doesn't seem like it's been so long (5 months this wednesday), and yet it seems a lifetime ago at the same time. i want this hurt to go away because i miss his sweet voice. i haven't listened to them since nov because it hurts to hear it. i long for the days when i heard them on the radio, and i'd turn it up and scream with the delight that they were getting the airplay they deserve.
