MY FAMILY :
I am married with three children.
I love to cook, and I adore my flower
gardens and I write poetry.
My passion in life is collecting antique
buttons.( the kind you wear on your clothes )
People ask me why I do this.
The answer is really very simple, they are
very beautiful and have lots of hisory
behind them. The older they are the
more interesting they are.
They are all small works of treasured art.
I love each and every one of them.
I have thousands of them.
I also work as a pharmacy tech
at a national drug store chain.
I love my job and my co-workers are great!

My husband Frank is a truck driver.
He is gone at least five days a week.
So I run the household on my own.
He likes to hunt and bowls on a league.
He almost had a perfect game a while
back. But he ended up with a 289.
I was getting a bit worried at the end...
all those strikes in a row.
( 10 ) Could he really do it?
But it was not to be, not that day.
He will keep trying. I hope
he can do it someday. He and
I both love antiques, so we
hit the shops when we have time.
He collects milk bottles and milk cans.
He also LOVES lighthouses. He is
also a NASCAR fan. He
loves going to the races.
His favorite driver is Ward Burton

Sean is our 22 year old son.
He likes hunting , bowling,(on a league).
His high score is a 268.
He has joined the Navy.
He LOVES what he is doing.
We are very proud of him.
Sarah is 20 and she is my sweetie.
She tends to light up a room just
by walking into it.
She plays the bells
and the drums.
She is a Junior in college
She has her minor in Chemistry,
and is working on a degree
in Biology, then she plans on going on to
medical school to study Genetics.

Kayla is our baby, she is 12 years old.
She loves playing outside
Her passions are eating icecream,
swimming, playing basketball,soccor,
and she dances and is a cheerleader.
To laugh is to risk appearing a fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out for another is to risk involvement.
To expose feelings is to risk rejection.
To face your dreams before
the crowd is to risk ridicule.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To go forward in the face of
overwhelming odds is to risk failure.

But risks must be taken because the greatest
hazard in life is to risk nothing.
The person who risks nothing, does nothing,
has nothing and is nothing.
He may avoid suffering and sorrow, but
he can not learn, feel, change, grow or love.
Chained to his certitudes, he is a slave.
He has forfeited his freedom.
Only a person who takes risks is free.
