Logical-Mathematical Intelligence

Logical-Mathematical Intelligence is probably the most widely regarded measure of intelligence but does not deserve a higher distinction than the other intelligences. It's recognition comes from the fact that it has been possible to measure and quantify this ability by multiple choice standardized tests. This intelligence is discerned by the ability to process logical problems and equations and perform abstract reasoning. Additionally, individuals who have high logical-mathematical abilities are usually able to process logical and mathematical questions at a rapid rate.

Before the advent of MI theory, logical-mathematical intelligence was considered the primary indicator of intelligence, or "raw intellect". While MI theory supports that logical-mathematical intelligence is a key indicator of the intellect, it is only one of many of the multiple intelligences that should be recognized and cultivated. Scientists, accountants, computer programmers are all gifted with Logical-Mathematical Intelligence.

This site combines Math, Logic, Music and Art~called Fractal Music!

This site takes the mathematics of Chaos Theory; which is what creates fractal graphics, and applys that same math to music. This is referred to as "Fractal Music". You take fractal equations and map the results to the pixels on a computer screen. The results may surprise you!

Another really great Math Web Site for kids and adults
