Systema is a unique martial art which is Russian in origin. It has little similarity with Oriental martial arts.
Our training exercises build a set of highly adaptable mental and physical skills rather than learning fixed technique through repetition.
This natural learning method allows for the swift development of self defence abilities and personal confidence.
Systema does not limit the practitioner to specific types of application. Strikes, locks, holds, takedowns and traditional or improvised weapons are a part of normal training. A range of conditioning and relaxation exercises are practised. We train once a week in a friendly, informal atmosphere.
