The Siderake

The siderake is pulled behind a tractor and follows behind a bit to the side. It has several rows of "teeth" that are mounted on a wheel that turns. The teeth almost skim the ground as they turn, picking up the hay and rolling it into a windrow. Typically siderakes work in pairs. The first siderake rolls the hay into a windrow and the second siderake rolls that windrow over to make a larger one. Picture of siderake
