I figured if people are willing to help a bubbly stranger pay off department store credit card debts, maybe they'll help a less-than-bubbly going-on-old fart pay utility bills and such too.
You've heard it before, gonna hear it again: "I'm a nice person." Really. I am. At least, that's what I've been told....recent events have made me wonder though, while at the same time feel bad about this mess I've gotten myself into.
But one thing and another dozen has happened, I've made bad choices and yaddayadda -- you can read my story and decide for yourself just how much I really deserve to be helped. My thanks go to both donors and visitors.
Me, I don't think I deserve it, I'd rather be scrounging funds together myself through various (preferrably) legal methods, but that's just not cutting it anymore.....so hey, might as well try this venue along with everything else. When you're rolling pennies to buy Ramen, every little bit helps.
And yet, it's not all sunbeams and Hello Kitties: I have a special message for the people who have nothing nice to say about this whole cyberbegging concept. And a special prayer you don't have to face this someday (Lord knows I've tried hard to avoid it myself).
Not up for donating to me? I have a list of others who could use some help, and useful links for other would-be beggars. While researching this new part of society, I happened across a few souls who are (or at least sound) as bad off as I am, so if my story's not deserving, maybe theirs will be.
Since this is new, I don't really have much to update yet. But I plan to keep the curious informed to some degree -- learn more here.
