ILVFLOWERS
So the title is a bit of a misnomer but I do love flowers, from my garden, florist shops, you name it.  But this site is about me and my family and friends, not flowers....

The move from Memphis to Knoxville finds us in a bigger home surrounded by family in all directions. Chris joined the army and has been to Iraq twice. He was scheduled to come home from his current deployment there in March of '09 and get out of the military in July of '09.  This did not happen.  On the morning of September 29, 2008, two Army personnel in dress greens rang the doorbell at six a.m.  In their hands were the words everyone with loved ones overseas in the armed forces does not want to hear.  Our lives, hearts and home will never be the same without Chris in our home.  R.I.P. Our daughter Emily Anne Frost was born on Wednesday October 19, 2005.  More than 3 months early, she was not due until January 25, 2006.  Born at 26 weeks and weighing in at 1 pound 12 ounces, we call her our little miracle.  At birth her first Apgar was a 2 and she was immediately intubated.  She spent 2 1/2 months in the East Tennessee Children's Hospital NICU but was released to go home with us on December 30th!  Happy New Years!  As you can see now though, she's 3 years old and doing great!
