Melanie Jayne Chisholm was born on the 12th of January 1974.She lived with her mum Joan,her dad Den and her younger brother Paul.Melanie's parents split up when she was 7.She attended Fairfield County Highschool before leaving to go to dance college when she was just 16.
Melanie is currently dating J from the boyband Five,after they both attended the same after show party after the Brit Awards.
Melanie was a ballet dancer before she joined the Spice Girls.And she made it to the shortlist for the hit musical 'Cats'.She supports her home team,Liverpool FC,and goes to the mathes when she can.
Melanie has released 3 songs from her album titled 'Northern Star',and the most recent one,'Never be the same again'featuring Lisa'Left Eye'Lopes,went straight to number 1 in the UK charts.
She will be starting her secong world tour in the UK on the 4th of September,having finished her first one on the 1st of November last year in Liverpool.
Mum Joan,dad Den,brother Paul,and numerous step and half brothers and sisters,including a half sister called Emma who she only met 2 years ago.
