Welcome to the I Love Lucy Characters Facts Site (ICFS)! This is a site created on December 26, 2000, and will have every single tidbit of information about the Ricardos and the Mertzes from the "canon" sources - I Love Lucy and The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour.

How did I get this information? By watching every single episode of both shows (starting with "The Ricardos Go to Cuba", appropriately my favorite episode) and writing down all the information shown. Then, I put it all on this site, and once I finish it will be the premier site for information on the characters of I Love Lucy. I also use Lucytalk for other information.

Yes, I know it doesn't have much now, but just wait. As each new episode is aired (my primary resource is Nick at Nite, and they show the episodes in order) I'll post the information shared.

Remember, these are facts about the characters on the show, not the actual actors (Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, Vivian Vance, William Frawley and Keith Thibodeaux).

Also, some information was changed during the run of the series; the directors and writers seem lax in this area. For example, the Mertzes' number of years married varied greatly. These are "nits" and you'll see them in a special "NitAlert" section of each characters' page.
