I always wanted to have a beard, I think, since when I was a child. I started growing long sideburns in 1997, but ended at the beginning of 1999. In September, 1999, I definitely quitted shaving my cheeks and returned to the bushy burns, but nothing on my chin let me suppose I could sport a proud full beard, some day. In the year 2002 my passion grew, and so I decided to see what would happen: I stopped shaving, and I went for the goal of letting the chin untrimmed for at least six months.

june 2002	31 july 2002	1st October 2002 six months!	December 2002	April 2003 one year bearded!!!

I let my goatee grow free and untrimmed from 1st of April, 2002, to 3rd of June, 2003, then, for various reasons, not all of them due to personal will, I did the criminal action and I trimmed.

That was the last time, apart from some slight cut here and there, the goatee is still growing free and natural. Sideburns have been trimmed down to stubble in July, 2004, and never touched since then. Random pics of the lat year are in the next page Other pics can be seen here
