Squadron IL-091 the first squadron in Illinois to recieve a charter during the ninth year of the AFJROTC program, started its glorious career with fifty out of the required 100 sterling cadets. Out of which Michael Seibert was named Squadron Commander. Bill Huffstutler was named Deputy Squadron Commander. The Aerospace Education Instructor was Lieutenant Colonel (RET.) Leland E Turner and the Assistant Aerospace Education Instructor was Senior Master Sergeant (RET.) Allen Anderson.


Today, Our Squadron has grown in to a Wing. The IL-091 has grown in to a program of over 180 outstanding cadets from all over the widly growing city of Bolingbrook. Headed by Major Vince Rukstalis (RET.), and Master Sergeant Richard Burt (RET.), our cadets are coming the leaders of tomorrow while learning the skills of Aerospace Science and Leadership in the classroom as well as Leadership and Intergity outside. The Current Wing Commander is cadet Amanda Pires and Vice Wing Commander is Mitchell Arellano.
