Artwork By TOMOKO NAKAZATO
WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF (stress-free, guilt-free & pain-free) MISCHIEFS!

A world I create through my sculptures is suspended between my imagination and reality, which reflects my life as a hybrid of Japanese and American cultures today.

In the world, characters I created engage in various mischievous activities; often self-indulging, sometimes self-tormenting. They seek spiritual redemptions from guilt and void generated from the cultures of mass-consumerism, and from the unbearable truth of the ephemeral human existence.
