How did a whole generation end up with nothing to say? Dumbed-down, uninterested, politically useless compliant consumers ... just what the corporate masters wanted.
Greatest achievement? Mediocrity.

The Slag-heap of Humanity
Gen-X is loathsome for oh so many reasons, but primarily for their lack of politics. They are too busy posturing and posing and being too cool to care. At one point in the 90's the media latched onto this phrase to describe low voter turnout and lack of political activism by Gen-Xers: "their non-involvement is their statement" What bullshit. Disengagement from politics means Xers have no point of view. Which explains so much ... namely Gen-X's new, lower standards of art and living. So far Gen Y isn't looking any better. A comparison of generations proves helpful, and The List quantifies the most noxious among Gen-X, as does the Hall of Shame/Fame - with more detail.

> Gen-X Disengagement Assured the Ascendancy of the Right <

Gen-X has not produced a single great individual. Name one.
