Monthly reporting
This is an extension to the Students Information and Records System (SIRS) program.
Results of tests captured in SIRS can be uploaded here where students and parents
can have access to the results anytime.
Only monthly results and targets are displayed at the moment. There is also a portion
where the results of a subject is displayed graphically so that you could see the
trend.
Plans are made to upload and display mid-year and year-end results.
Later parents, students and teachers can also post messages regarding a report. This
will allow closer interaction between students, parents and teachers and with that,
it is hoped that the students will be able to do better academically.
My school bookshop
My School Bookshop is an e-commerce application that allows students to
order their books over the Internet. The sales engine does not rely on
credit payment and therefore avoid a lot of headaches that is associated
with transactions over the Internet.
This application does not rely on any databases and can be hosted on any
web server. It is best suited if the number of items are not more than
100 and they do not require constant updating. Processing is done on the
client side. The order is submitted through email.
You can target your customers by classifying your products into
categories. Images of your products can be displayed together with the
descriptions.
If you decide to use this engine, the following assistance will be
rendered for a fee of S$300 per year:-
- Preparation of database (less than 100 items).
- Assist in uploading application to a web host.
(Fee may be incurred if you use your own hosting service.)
- Assist in setting up order submission engine.
- Simple customisation of webpages (change images, no programming).
